Mówi się, że film Borderlands opowie całkiem nową historię. Nie obejrzymy więc adaptacji znanej nam historii. Niemniej film jasno będzie nawiązywać do gier i tym samym nie zabraknie znanych postaci. Mogliśmy rzucić okiem na postać Lilith. Teraz przychodzi pora na kolejne. Jest to kolejno: Roland, Patricia Tannis, Tiny Tina, Psycho Krieg i Claptrap.

Nie wiadomo jeszcze kiedy będziemy mogli obejrzeć Borderlands, choć wstępnie mówi się o 2022 roku. Reżyserią zajmie się Eli Roth, scenariuszem zaś Craig Mazin. W obsadzie znajdą się Cate Blanchett jako Lilith, Janina Gavankar jako Commander Knoxx, Edgar Ramirez jako Atlas, Olivier Richters jako Krom, Benjamin Byron Davis jako Marcus, Charles Babalola jako Hammerlock, Cheyenne Jackson jako Jakobs, Gina Gershon jako Moxxi, Steven Boyer jako Scooter, Ryann Redmond jako Ellie, oraz Haley Bennett.
